GRNCA (1123500 – GREATER READING NEPALESE COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION) is a registered non-profit making charity organisation, which undertake activities to contribute to local community, particularly the Nepali Community living in Greater Reading area. Also, provides volunteer help and conduct research and studies.

Palmers Park

Palmer Park is a public park in Reading, England. The land for the park was given to the town in 1889 by the Palmer family, proprietors of the Huntley & Palmers biscuit factory, and contains a statue of George Palmer. Popular with all of the local residents for various activities, it often hosts religious festivals, sports tournaments and small special events. In the past, Carter's Steam Fair visited the park every year. However, they stopped the annual occasion due to the discovery of ground subsidence in the park. We would like to inform you that GRNCA is organising 2555th Buddha Jayanti celebration. So, we would like to call upon all Nepali daju bhai and didi bahini to participate on this event. The venue and time are as follows:

Venue: 44 Watlington Street, Watlington House, Reading, RG1 4RJ

Date: 17th May, 2011, Tuesday

Time: 6 pm to 9 pm
